Welcome to the official Richie Ramsay Website the 2009 South African Open Champion. In 2006, Richie Ramsay became the U.S. Amateur Champion and was ranked Number 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, issued by the R&A. This led to invites to play in 3 of the majors in 2008; The Masters, US Open and The Open Championship thus leading Richie to turn pro in 2007 at the Euopean Tour Russian Open before his scheduled 2nd Walker Cup appearance withTeam GB&I. Richie Ramsay's 1st professional tour victory came at the Vodafone Callenge in Dusseldorf in August 08 quickly followed by the AGF Allianz Golf Open Grand Toulouse in October 08.
